March Madness – Minnesota Style (that would be hockey)

Gopher Hockey

With all the “hoopla” (pun intended) of college hoops and March Madness, there’s another sport to follow, and it involves skates, ice, and checking. The Gophers just won the WCHA Final Five, ensuring a number one seed in hopes to make and win the Frozen Four

This is one of those Final Five’s that will be talked about for years. The final between Minnesota and North Dakota is the best college hockey game I’ve seen in a few years, with Blake Wheeler making an ESPN highlight-type overtime goal.

I have some friends at the game and they’re definitely celebrating right now… except for Kevin, since he’s a UND alumni.

Maybe there are some college hockey brackets, just like the college hoops March Madness. If so, I just might bite.
